What is a cow share?

We are on a mission to bring the local Bribie community certified organic, grass fed quality meat at the most affordable prices. We purchase a whole beast (roughly 200kg) and split this between 8 families (each family receiving a 1/8th share). Each family will receive roughly 25kg each way. Roughly $23 a kg. You can split this further between friends & family, or keep it all for yourself to enjoy. We wont split this further then 1/8 shares, due to it being more difficult to evenly distribute the different cuts of meat and kgs - this will be up to you if you choose to share with family and friends.

The farmers deliver the entire beast to us, freshly cut, cryovaced into smaller portions (normally 500g-1kg) and into different cuts. We then sort this out eight ways so everyone gets an even share.

Some of the cuts you can expect are rib fillet, rump, striploin, eye fillet, diced beef, flank steak, chuck, short ribs, oyster blade, blade roast, osso bucco, silverside, brisket, mince, mince mixed with liver, round steak, stock bones, suet, liver, kidneys, heart, ox tail, cheek and sausages.

Total cost is roughly $580 - $600 for 25kg of the freshest organic grass-fed beef. $200 deposit required to secure your spot.
